Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager with strong skills negotiating contracts with IT professional services vendors as well as hardware and software vendors/licenses.This individual must also have an understanding of the entire procurement process.

 

To be considered applicants should meet the following criteria:                  

• Seven or more years experience in technology (IS) related contract negotiations


• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contract negotiations


• Strong problem solving techniques, ability to clearly communicate issues, status of negotiations and ideas to internal clients


• Strong negotiation and communication skills are fundamental requirements of the role


• A Bachelor’s degree, is required; advanced academic credentials (such as an MBA or JD) would be viewed favorably


• Strong knowledge of business law as it relates to IS contract issues would be considered highly desirable in this role

Job Summary                         

The Sr. Contracts Manager will provide expertise in the drafting/development, negotiation and management of complex technology related contracts.  These contracts include application licensing, development, maintenance and support, IT consulting services, as well as contracts related to infrastructure support (telecom, hardware purchases, etc.).

In addition, responsibilities will include implementing, issuing and analyzing formal RFPs. This position will support client’s Information Services (IS) organization. The Contracts Manager will work closely with client’s Project Managers, Systems Analysts and Team Leaders.
